Pressure Teflon Level Sensor
This compact hydrostatic level sensor contains a silicon strain-gauge sensing element and evaluation electronics housed in a durable Teflon casing. A cable with a capillary tube exits the sensor housing and serves to bring the reference atmospheric pressure into the probe. The front side of the probe is fitted with a removable protective cap that prevents mechanical damage to the membrane.
The probe is suspended on the output cable to the bottom of the pool, balancing tank, or skimmer. The level sensor is suitable for all types of pools. Its measuring range is set as standard to a depth of 2 m, but it can be adjusted up to 100 m if needed. The level sensor is designed for connection to ASIN AQUA series controllers: Home, Oxygen, Salt, Profi, which use an output for regulating the water level in the pool.
Installation Instructions
- Installation is carried out by lowering the probe into the measured space (pool, skimmer, balancing tank, etc.). The probe will simply hang on the cable.
- A non-hermetic junction box must be used for connection.
- When coiling the excess cable, you must maintain a minimum diameter of 30 cm! It is not recommended to shorten or mechanically modify the cable.
- In pools where water turbulence is created by a strong inlet flow or mixer, the probe must be placed in a protective tube, behind an obstacle, or at least as far as possible from the source of turbulence.
