Triton Neo ClearPro filter tanks are made of fiberglass, seamless, reinforced with a polyester layer, equipped with a 6-way side valve and a pressure gauge, and mounted on a base. Sand filters work on the natural principle of water filtration. Water passes through the layer of sand, which traps fine dirt particles. Over time, the sand becomes clogged and needs to be backwashed, which is what the six-way valve is for. By turning the valve to the sand washing position, we change the direction of water flow and flush the trapped dirt into the waste line. This process can be repeated throughout the entire service life of the sand, which is very long compared to other filtration methods.
ClearPro® is a patented technology from Pentair that achieves very high filtration levels, approximately 4x better than standard sand filtration. This quality is achieved thanks to new porous plastic collectors. These act as additional filters, creating an extra barrier against the smallest dirt particles. The result is exceptionally clean water.
