  • Renolit ALKORPLAN Pond Liner Hydro H 35254 Grey 1.5 mm 2.15 m x 20 m Roll

Renolit ALKORPLAN Hydro H 35254 waterproof PVC membrane is designed for waterproofing water reservoirs such as:

    • garden ponds
    • irrigation reservoirs
    • fire reservoirs
    • water tanks
    • dam bodies
    • retention reservoirs

The Hydro H 35254 liner is strong, but it still requires a protective layer in the form of 500 g/m2 non-woven geotextile.

    Advantages:

    • very good chemical resistance
    • the liner is resistant to UV radiation, frost, rot, and root penetration
    • very high level of watertightness even under permanent deformation
    • excellent ability to adapt to unevenness or deformation of the substrate thanks to high flexibility and weld strength
    • the liner is harmless to fish and aquatic plants
    • high puncture resistance
    • root resistance in accordance with EN 14416
    • very good resistance to water of varying hardness and aggressiveness
    • resistance to mechanical damage
    • fast and trouble-free processing of all details
    • high elasticity and flexibility
    • long-term trouble-free waterproofing performance
    • adaptability to the contours of the substrate
    • health-safe and environmentally friendly
    • not resistant to bitumen, oils, and tar

Sold only by the full roll!

Guidelines for installing ALKORPLAN 35254/35054 membrane waterproofing

    • ALKORPLAN 35254/35054 membrane can be used to waterproof a water reservoir of any shape and size.
    • The substrate for waterproofing smaller reservoirs, such as garden ponds, is usually made of a layer of fine river sand with a minimum thickness of 50 mm. Larger reservoirs should be assessed individually. Coarse debris, such as sharp stones, must be removed from the bottom of the excavation.
    • A suitable base structure is also a monolithic concrete structure, used especially where the reservoir walls have a steep slope or where the substrate needs to be stabilized. The surface of the concrete structure must be free of unevenness and sharp edges.
    • The membrane is usually laid loosely on the substrate and is fixed only at the edge of the reservoir or, if necessary, around penetrations, steep bottom slopes, etc.
    • When designing larger water structures, it is necessary to prevent the membrane from sliding due to water movement and gravity, for example by loading the steps with aggregate.
    • The membrane must be laid continuously over the entire bottom area of the reservoir with sufficient overlap above the water level; all penetrations through the membrane must be made watertight, for example using a fixed and loose flange.
    • After the membrane is installed, protective layers are usually added to protect the waterproofing from mechanical damage. The membrane is protected by a layer of non-woven geotextile (usually with a weight of 500 g/m2 or higher) and a layer of river aggregate or a concrete layer. Concrete layers are designed according to STN EN 206. When placing large elements into the reservoir (e.g. large stones with sharp edges, plant containers, etc.), we recommend increasing membrane protection in addition to careful handling, for example by using a higher-weight textile or increasing the thickness of the aggregate layer.
