Badu Jet Turbo is Speck’s latest resistance swimming system, designed for demanding users who are looking for performance, quality, and comfort in one solution. Its intuitive new design delivers more than three times the flow rate of standard counter-current systems, significantly improving training options and the overall swimming experience. Thanks to its propeller drive, Badu Jet Turbo creates a strong yet smooth and stable water flow without turbulence, ensuring a natural swimming feel. The system is equipped with a quiet motor with variable output, which can be easily controlled directly underwater using LED piezo buttons or remotely via smartphone.
The Badu Jet Turbo Light counter-current system is designed for installation into the walls of all types of pools (except round pools) - for wall thicknesses up to 7 mm. It is ideal for performance-focused training, relaxation, rehabilitation workouts, fitness, or leisure fun with the whole family.

The Badu Jet Turbo system is designed for easy installation in various types of pools - whether it is a new build or an existing pool. It is suitable for all common constructions, including concrete, fiberglass, or liner pools with steel or plastic structures. Before installation, be sure to read the complete installation manual.

Design

The propeller is safely positioned behind the main cover, which is elegantly recessed into the pool wall. Water is drawn in through the front panel and then returned to the pool in a powerful stream, creating an intense counter-current.

The counter-current can be easily switched on or off using the built-in piezo buttons or a remote control. The same way, its intensity can also be conveniently adjusted.

Recommended Pool Water Parameters

For proper operation of the Speck Badu Jet Turbo system, the following water parameters are usually required (standard for most pool technologies):

pH: 7.2 - 7.6
Free chlorine: 1.0 - 3.0 mg / l (ppm)
Total alkalinity (TA): 80 - 120 mg / l
Total hardness (CaCO₃): 150 - 250 mg / l
Water temperature: up to 35 °C (maximum - according to the manufacturer’s specifications)
Salinity (for salt water): max. 0.5 % (5,000 ppm), if the device is compatible with salt water

These values ensure optimal operation of the motor, nozzles, and other components without damage or reduced service life.
