Prevents corrosion of stainless-steel parts of pool technology.
A titanium rod is placed in the pool, extended to the outside, and connected with a stainless-steel cable to the grounding bar (the cable is not included). For grounding, it is necessary to use a cable, preferably via the bar in the distribution board.
To connect it to the T-piece (or another fitting), the plug is glued in using an adhesive designed for PVC materials, such as Tangit and Griffon. Be careful when choosing the adhesive and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for proper bonding and fixing of the joints.
Before the actual gluing process, it is important to thoroughly clean all joints. For this purpose, we recommend using Tangit or Griffon cleaners. After cleaning the joints, apply a thin layer of Tangit or Griffon adhesive to both the elbow and the pipe, then join the parts together. After joining, leave it undisturbed for 5 minutes. It is important to note that pool adhesives dry and harden after approximately 10–12 hours. It is essential to follow the correct procedure and patiently wait until the adhesive has fully cured.
This special T-piece is installed on the suction line from the pool before the inlet to the filtration pump and on the return line to the pool just before the pool inlet.
