  • Astralpool CTX-550 winterizing product for pools 25 l

    Winterizing product for pools. Prevents water from going stale, the formation of algae, and limescale deposits during the winter period. Before applying the product, the pool must be treated with chlorine according to the instructions. The product contains 10-12% didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride, 3.5% copper sulfate, and 1-3% hydrochloric acid.

    Instructions for use

    After the summer season ends (when the temperature permanently drops below 15 °C), carry out the so-called superchlorination with CTX-200/GR. The following day, dose CTX-550 into the pool (5 liters / 100 m3 of water). The pH value of the water should then be adjusted to 7.2–7.6. Pour the required amount of CTX-550 evenly over the pool surface. For best results, it is advisable to keep the filtration system running for a certain period of time. During application, and after it, the winterized pool must not be used (due to the very high chlorine content in the water). If the weather allows, it is recommended to repeat the treatment of the pool water with CTX-550 in the middle of the winter period.
